Most of the wedding makeup is taken care of by the beauticians and smile is the only part they expect from the bride but once the hype and hoopla is over, the maintenance part comes into play. After using the cosmetics and the makeup brushes, the hygiene factor plays a major role. They need to be cleaned before being used by other bride in order to restrict infection.

Rubbing the brushes vigorously is not advised as it might spoil them. Most of the times the gentle detergents and soaps are mild and thus do not affect the soft and gentle hair of the makeup brushes.

Patting the makeup brushes dry is also equally important. And care should be taken that the water does not reach the metal area of the brush. It might erode the metal thus spoiling the makeup brush. The brush should be kept in upright position in order to let it dry sooner.

But when it comes to airbrush makeup as it is sprayed it gets less messy. Airbrush makeup was limited to celebrities at first. But in time, all women wanted a long lasting makeup. As Airbrush makeup looked natural too, it was much in demand. It has a one time cost and does not need much maintenance like the makeup brushes. Airbrush makeup also had the advantage, that it could be used on any part of the body and proved more useful when it came to hiding the tattoos, dark spots and blemishes. Airbrush makeup helped in covering up all imperfections in minimum time and was rightly called makeup expert.
